Terrace Gown Gemach is a non-profit organization founded on the belief that every woman deserves to feel beautiful and confident at her special event, regardless of her financial situation.
We provide access to elegant, high-quality gowns at an affordable flat rate, ensuring that no one has to compromise on feeling radiant because of budget constraints.

As a volunteer ambassador, you'll accept gown donations in your neighborhood, coordinate our yearly fundraiser, and keep us connected with your community's needs—all with a flexible commitment that works with your schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions
What type of gowns do you have?
We have a wide variety of gowns for women & teens in many different styles & colors. We cater to all members of the immediate family of the Chosson/Kallah & even have a separate high end section reserved for mothers only.
Do I need to make an appointment?
We are open weekly, usually several times a week. Appointments aren't necessary, just come when we are open!

How much does it cost to rent a gown?
We charge $100 total. A $50 deposit is needed to reserve the gown & the balance is due at the time of pickup. There is also a dry cleaning charge that gets paid directly to the cleaners.
How much does dry cleaning cost?
We have partnered with Valueclean Cleaners to provide special gemach rates for all our customers. Prices are $75 or $90 for beaded gowns. (Non gemach gowns start at $200 for dry cleaning!)
How long before the wedding can I pickup the gown?
1 week before the wedding.
Are alterations allowed?
Yes! As long as the gown isn't cut, you may do alterations.
What happens if I change my mind about my gown?
Gown deposits are not refundable or transferable. If you need to cancel for any reason please text or email us so we are aware you will not be picking up your gown.
If you wish to take another gown instead, please come when we are open to reserve the new gown. A deposit will be needed. We urge all our clients to reserve their gowns when they are sure of their decision to avoid any unnecessary expenses.
